8 Video Games That Would Work Perfectly As TV Shows

Spoilers for God of War below.

It's a surprise that a TV series has not yet been made surrounding the fascinating worlds of Greek and Norse mythology. God Of War, through its eight games, delved into both with Kratos' story, thus making it perfect to fill this void.

With 2018's God Of War, a new side to Kratos was explored. In contrast to the hardened warrior we saw in earlier instalments in the franchise, we experienced a more human side to him as he had to reconcile with the brutality of what he has done in his past, while also being a father to his son, Atreus.

Or, in a diversion from the games, Kratos could take a back seat in a TV series and Atreus could be the main protagonist. After the events of God Of War, he could go on a coming-of-age journey to realise his identity after the revelation that he is in fact Loki, making him part mortal, god and giant and what that means for him and who he is to become. Kratos can still make frequent appearances as he has a very large role in Atreus' life. It would be an interesting avenue to take to differ from the games while still staying connected.

The ending strongly indicates future sequels to the game, which translates into potential future seasons.
