8 Video Games With The BEST Game Overs

Now I know a lot of people will want me to put the Total Distortion Game Over on this list, for the simple fact that being beaten by a guitar-wielding Robo-demon who then sings to you via a death screen is a pretty unique experience. However I've covered this so many times that the song is burned into my brain, and also it made me realize that Total Distortion isn't the only game to humiliate you through verse!

If you grew up in the '90s there was a good chance you played SEGA Rally Championship, such was its prevalence in arcades, restaurants, and even my local swimming pool! It was such a blast to scream through jagged polygon tracks with a friend trying to outrun an always ticking clock. However whereas most arcade games were focused on getting you to put more coins in to avoid the dreaded "Game Over" screen, Rally Championship made failure almost worth it, as if you hit a brick wall and timed out, the title would sing "Game Over Yeeeeeeahhh" which never failed to cause my friends and I to laugh and sing it back.

Simple, and brilliant.
