8 Worthless Video Game Items You NEVER Used

So, first I need to credit the one and only Zoë Miskelly for introducing me to Path Of Exile as that game is *Noice*. I also want to thank her for introducing me to something that is at once the most stupid in-joke and also the most pointless thing I've ever seen in a video game.

To better explain, let's set the scene. Path of Exile comes from the lovely old school dungeon crawler RPG genre that Diablo and Baldur's Gate had a huge hand in shaping, and really tries hard to shake off being just a clone of these giants with really engaging gameplay and customization. As you'd expect from such a title, it's all about the loot baybay, so grinding and enemy farming are the order of the day.

However in among all of the golden shields and purple helmets you've picked up, you might start to notice you've amassed a lot of gear that provides huge bonuses to fishing. Excellent you think, that rare bass is about to get its ass hooked with these brilliant items... well slow your roll champ because I got a little secret for you.

There's no fishing in the entire game.

It's just a dumb, but altogether brilliant joke from the devs that render a huge swathe of items utterly useless.
