6. Tetris Grand Master 3 Lightning Reflexes
Tetris is one of the most famous games in the world. Unsurprisingly it has spawned a smorgasbord of imitations and fan remakes. So what's so impressive about this iteration? As gamers become more astute and skilled, developers are always pushing for new ways to test the very core of our mettle. With Tetris Grand Master 3, it goes a step further. The video starts by showing us a version of the game that requires something akin to ninja reaction-times. The player shown on the right seems to be able to keep up with it. With enough practice, a lot of players could probably pull this off, right? Then it all changes. Here is where the player shows a level of skill that most would have to sell their soul for. As the game speeds up, the hands on the right of the screen appear to anticipate moves, the gamer having an intimate knowledge of which buttons to press to turn blocks in a fraction of a second, and aim at the correct places. Where it reaches levels of insanity that requires an immeasurable amount of genius, is where the game suddenly decides to make the blocks invisible! (Around 5:10) Now we have a gamer who not only has to have agile reflexes, but needs a burned imprint in their mind of what shape the tower of blocks is starting to make. How else are they able to perform such incredible feats of Tetris brilliance?
