While it's true that the people in these videos are borderline geniuses, it doesn't always mean that what they do has any useful applications. But that also doesn't mean they aren't impressive to watch. Take this user for example. These series of videos seem to show that even when a game is as challenging as Portal 2, there are ways to replay it so it's even harder (which is probably a gateway to more sadomasochistic hobbies). Each clip shows the player throwing cubes and using them as split second platforms to perform tasks that look pointless, but are still jaw dropping to watch. Kind of makes you want to load the game up and give them a go yourself. What makes this player so adept at these tricks is how they are clearly performing them on the console version of the game. You can see evidence of this as the player turns using he slow movements of the controller. If they were to do them on a PC, the smooth and accurate moves of a gaming mouse would render these videos slightly less impressive. Only slightly, mind.
