9 Anticipated Video Games You Won't See Again Until E3 2019

4. Control

This game was shown very briefly during Sony's conference. It's been through a few names but, as it's now known, Control seems to be an interesting new game.

From Remedy Entertainment, of Max Payne fame and more recently Quantum Break, it's an action game where you have the power to toy with time. It sounds very interesting, but only a small gameplay trailer was shown, amid much larger titles at the conference.

It has been confirmed that the release date will be some time in 2019, but information is light. Since it only debuted at this E3, compared to lots of other games on this list that were teased and shown briefly before the ceremony, it'd be very surprising if the game came out in the months before E3.

It's much more likely that Sony are squaring up Control to be a big-hitter at next year's ceremony, where they can show off the mechanics and story in much greater detail.

I'm based in the UK, looking to make a career out of writing about entertainment and culture. The only thing I like as much as watching films, playing games or listening to music is enjoying as much hummus and crisps as I can while I do so. My favourite film is Eddie the Eagle and I like any game that lets me wander around beautiful worlds (or eat hummus and crisps).
