9 Best PC Multiplayer Video Games You Can Play Offline
1. Portal 2
Whichever way you cut it, Portal 2 will go down as one of the best games of all time. The sequel to the short original does everything bigger and better, including allowing two players to tackle Valve's pitch-perfect puzzles.
Though it's older than the rest of the releases on this list, the inventive platforming never really gets old, even if you've already gone through its physics puzzles from beginning to end. The portal gun itself is one of the most genius weapons ever, of course, but it's the way the developers made everything count, from angles to momentum, that makes for those fist-pumping moments when you finally get to the end of a room.
Of course, the different tactical options increased tenfold when another player (and portal gun) was thrown into the mix. Having to coordinate with your teammate can be frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it you enter a flow that's entirely unlike that found in any other game. It's great. It's Portal 2. If you have a PC and don't have this installed, you're doing something wrong.
