9 Cancelled Superhero Video Games That Would've Made Millions
1. Superman: Blue Steel
Rogue Squadron developer Factor 5 went from strength to absolute and total failure when they released the motion-controlled PS3 exclusive Lair, and it's a downward slope that would take them six feet under in the following years. One of the shiniest gems in their crown at the time though, was Superman: Blue Steel, a working title that could've translated across into a truly awesome game.
Looking to carry on where 2002's Shadow of Apokolips left off, it also would've given you relatively large environments to best take advantage of Supes' myriad of abilities. In terms of aesthetics, Superman and Doomsday were as old school as they come, with Kal-El's costume in particular popping with old school charm and appeal.
Villains would've apparently included Lex Luthor and Darkseid, alongside Kryptonians Zod and Non, which if the trailer is anything to go by, was going to lead to some truly epic showdowns as you sent them barrelling through buildings and debris.
