9 Celebrity Voice Actors Who Ruined Their Video Games

4. Eliza Dushku - Rubi Malone (WET)

Eliza Dusku Wet
Malone

Far from what most people want when they Google "Eliza Dushku Wet", her role as Rubi in Artificial Mind and Movement's grindhouse-style shooter actually made a character that could've been remembered as a slickly badass female into the most forgettable part of the whole thing. Something that when your game features a heap of set-pieces ranging from a guns n' swords battle across multiple moving car rooftops to flipping off any nearby surface in twin-pistol-toting slow-motion, is quite the achievement.

As with most of the entries on this list it's not just that the games they're in were bad already, but more in their approach to the microphone that ends up coming across as either not knowing what was asked of them, or simply not caring enough.

WET was absolutely ridiculous from its opening moments, with seemingly every character trying to talk exclusively in one-liners and clichés, but when what was needed was a central character who could exude this mentality from every pore - like Saints Row's Boss for example - instead Dushku's mix of sass and boredom combined to bring the whole thing down around her.
