2. Boosting
Games of Free for All are frantic and fun in equal measure. The usual process of carefully checking for team mates goes out the window, replaced instead by an unswerving shoot to kill mentality that gives the matches their defining pace. Add to that the challenge of hitting thirty kills before anyone else and its a great game mode; that is, until the kill feed shows a continuous string of headshots for one player and a series of deaths for another. Lo and behold, a quick check of the scoreboard reveals that players are taking turns to score easy kills on each other for the sake of completing challenges. Its fairly simple to track them down and eliminate them, but its annoying for those who just want to play against like minded competitors. As is the case with the knife, maybe its time to call it a day for the tactical insertion after all, how often does anybody use it in any other way?
