3. Juhani (Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic)
Technically the first gay character to be outed in the Star Wars universe, the cat-alien-lady and integral party member Juhani professes her feelings towards your character - but only if you're a woman. Bioware, who are now renowned as masters of RPGs based heavily around character relationships and dialogue, approached Juhani's sexuality with sensitivity, as Juhani declares her love for the (female) player by saying "I care for you, I do not know why. I do not know if anything will be possible or if you even return what I feel, but I do know it is there. I am sorry if this upsets you. I am so sorry if I am wrong, but I cannot deny what it is that I feel. Beautifully put, but if that doesn't make things clear enough then Juhani was also involved with another female Jedi called Belaya, who fondly recounts the "many nights alone under the stars" that they spent together. A mature and sweet handling of the subject by Bioware.
