9 Hugely-Anticipated Video Games Still To Come In 2018

There's a particularly attractive quality you'll find in any games enthusiast. Whether naturally gifted or begrudgingly obtained, patience is an attribute each of us shares, we have to. Especially when it comes to the ever-so-long wait between releases.

A few years is usually all it takes, in most cases, to see that long-awaited sequel arrive, but there's always the exception. After thirteen long, tortuous years of developing saint-like patience, Square Enix will finally be breaking the lock on Kingdom Hearts' multiverse, once more allowing fans to overdose on Disney magic.

As per Disney's acquisition of Pixar and Lucasfilm in the years since Kingdom Hearts II's release, new worlds centred around the former's franchises are in for the ride. Toy Story, Big Hero 6 and Tangled are confirmed to appear, with a few extras on top of that no doubt being kept under wraps.

Whether the latter studio will have any impact on the title, Square Enix hasn't squeaked out a 'yay or 'nay' either way, but it's unlikely. Never say never, of course, but with EA holding the publishing rights to all things Star Wars in the gaming landscape and the obvious tonal differences between the two franchises, it's best to temper expectations.

Besides, with old Buzz and Woody now by Sora's side in his quest to stop Xehanort, who needs the Jedi anyway?
