5. Bugs Can (And Will) Ruin The Experience
Bugs in Bethesda's games have become something of a running joke by now, but it's easy to forget just how much they actually drag the developer's titles down.
Sure, booting up New Vegas and having the head of the first character you meet start twirling around is pretty funny, but realising later on that you can't get into the Vegas strip without the game crashing on you isn't as much of a laughing matter.
Even disregarding the few game-breaking bugs or glitches that lock you out of specific quests though, the basic instability of the Fallout series is a major problem in and of itself.
An enemy's A.I. freaking out makes the game's shooting feel even less challenging than it already is, while nothing sucks the fun out of supposedly epic moments more than having the game tank to ten frames per second just as they're about to happen.
