Remember when we said to try and hold in your outrage? This is the title that's going to test such a thing. Easily one of the most replayable games of all time and one that to this day people essentially live in, Skyrim is the fantasy-fans dream come true, allowing you to live hundreds of potential lives in a world that dynamically responds to you and fulfils every Lord of the Rings-style dream you've ever had. Or at least, it should do. Developers Bethesda are notorious for releasing their games in states that are still incredibly buggy and glitchy, mainly because combing every inch of a game that's this size - with so many variables - is a task they can never fulfil without entire decades of development time. Some people take things like the backwards-flying dragons, the randomly headless pedestrians or the quest-givers who are stuck in the ground as just something fun and quirky; a necessary evil in a game that can give so much back when it's working the way it should. For many though if adventuring through Skyrim was their first RPG or any number of crippling game issues (which have since been patched out) led to a story-centric character or item simply not appearing - or your character straight up just falling through the floor - it's not hard to see why people were completely put off. As we look forward to Fallout 4 here's hoping working with newer hardware to create even bigger game worlds doesn't mean we're going to get ten-times the amount of issues along the way.
