9 Most Disgusting Things Video Games Forced You To Do
5. Kill Your Best Friend & Mentor, Or Reveal Your Cover? - Splinter Cell: Double Agent
We're long overdue another Splinter Cell instalment, and as Ubisoft have royally ballsed up both Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed in the last few years (despite Syndicate being a solid title nonetheless), Sam Fisher and his high-tech gadgetry would be welcomed with open arms.
Last entry Blacklist actually got pretty far away from the continued exploits of Sam's core story, but back in Double Agent it was the first entry on 360-era consoles, and the first to put narrative at the forefront of the experience. 2006's Splinter Cell asked you to put a bullet in Lambert; your best friend and former handler from the other side of the microphone.
The alternative was to refuse and blast one of the enemies instead, but Lambert bites it further down the line regardless, meaning you were forced - out of the blue, I might add, it's very "Here's someone you know, deal with it" - to take care of the situation in one hell of a memorable scenario.
