9 Nintendo Switch Exclusives That Could Be Announced At E3
6. Animal Crossing Switch
We're about due for a new Animal Crossing title and don't you worry, with the series having racked up an impressive tally of over 30 million total sales worldwide, there absolutely will be one coming sooner rather than later. The only question is: will it be unveiled at this year's E3?
Yes or no, Nintendo's fantastical simulation series, as well as its anthropomorphic residents, have plenty of room to evolve, and it's about time they did, too. From the GameCube original all the way up to 2012's New Leaf, the core objective has always been the same. Arrive, by vaguely dubious means, to a secluded little town, land yourself in a lifetime of debt in order to secure four walls and a roof and then set about paying off the loan, all the while attracting new townsfolk and decorating your humble abode with all sorts of miscellany.
The Switch, by no means a powerhouse, is still a considerable step up over what's come before, so why not take advantage of its power to make some home improvements? Bigger villages, more NPCs, collectibles and, above all else, more interactivity are key in making an Animal Crossing sequel feel fresh rather than a retread of what's come before.
