8. YouTube Makes Building PCs Easy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw One of the big problems with getting people into PC gaming is that theres a lot of jargon. The video on the previous page is a good example of that. If you watch it from the beginning, and you arent a PC gamer already, youd have no idea what was going on except when the guy shows graphs and plugs stuff in. Its why PC gaming has always been seen as a nerd thing most people dont like or have the patience for sorting through an avalanche of jargon. Thankfully, YouTube makes learning how to build a PC a much simpler process than it used to be. All you have to do is type in how to build a computer and youll get 6 million results that show the process in detail. While there are a lot of hour and a half long videos, there are also shorter videos, like the one posted at the top of the page, that break down the process into more manageable chunks. While a lot are out of date in terms of what the best parts or prices are, they do give you enough information to figure out whether building a PC is something you want to do. And if you dont think you can handle building your own gaming PC, you can always buy one or pay someone to build it for you.
