2. Tutorials Are Optional (But Essential)

One of the biggest reasons you might instantly bounce off For Honor comes from the game's optional tutorials. It'll introduce you to the basics of locking on, light and heavy attacks and dodging, but after that you're on your own - unless you have the wherewithal to hop back into the Main Menu and then the 'How to Play' section again.

Inside you'll find an 'Advanced Tutorial', which outside of introducing you to the essential parry mechanic, gives you an open-ended map to try a number of gameplay features out in your own time.

At time of writing I'm yet to get hands-on with full code, but if the game's introduction to your wider moveset is two menus deep inside an optional tutorial, I guarantee 99% of people will never go looking.
