9 Reasons You Shouldn't Buy A PS4 Pro
5. Somehow, A Few Games Run Even Worse
You'd think the PS4 Pro could handle a five year old game like Skyrim with flying colours. Bethesda, however, seems dedicated to putting out the worst performing games on the market. So the PS4 Pro comes to an awkward position where Skyrim's Definitive Edition actually performs a little slower than the stock PS4.
Crazy, isn't it?
But it's not just Bethesda that end up slacking in the performance department. The Last of Us: Remastered also comes across as a less than stellar performer. While the PS4 runs the game at an almost perfect lock of 60FPS, the upgraded PS4 Pro ends up dropping in performance for the sake of visual clarity, dropping in points where the original PS4 version managed to keep a solid framerate.
One important little fact is that the PS4 Pro is still a very new device, so kinks like this are sure to be ironed out. But most of these are PS3 games in the first place - the PS4 Pro stuttering almost feels like a slap in the face to the buyer.
