9 Reasons You're WRONG About Resident Evil 6

9. The Monsters Are Awesome

A Resident Evil game is always defined by its monsters. From the original's shamblers, to 3's Nemesis, to 4's Las Plagas infected Europeans, every single entry has birthed new grotesque monstrosities that have terrified fans and become beloved parts of the series' overall lore.

Not only does Resident Evil 6 introduce its own new biohazards - including the Nemesis-esque Ustanak - but it also acts as a greatest-hits gauntlet of every popular creature the franchise has ever featured. The sheer variety on display is insane, not only in the visual design of these enemies but in their animations and behaviour as well, with each one being a damn nightmare to pin down and take out.

Resi 7 was awesome, but its mold monsters got a little old after a while. The sixth game, on the other hand, hits you with so many different monsters on a level-by-level basis that you don't even have time to register most of them, never mind get bored by them. It might end up being a case of quantity over quality by the end, but it does add a real sense of variety that keeps the combat interesting.
