3. There's So Much Content
At a time where video games were cutting out features and disappointing players with sequels that shipped with less content than their predecessors, Resident Evil 6 was a beast of a game. As touched upon, the title shipped with four unique campaigns that, yeah, occasionally borrowed levels and sequences for each other, but for the most part offered a bunch of unique ways to experience the sequel.
That was all on top of a surprisingly great multiplayer mode as well, which let players jump into another real-life person's campaign as a monster to kill them. The concept has been done better now, but at the time it was actually quite inventive. It wasn't designed to hold your attention for tens of hours, but it was still great to jump into for a little bit.
There's just so much to sink your teeth into in Resi 6, and again, it might be a case of quantity over quality, but none of the experience is ever outright bad. And that's all without even mentioning the most robust Mercenaries mode yet...
