8. Sigrun’s Flying Stomp - God Of War

Sigrun the Valkyrie Queen is arguably the trickiest boss you’ll come up against in God of War. She’s physically imposing, comes stacked with attacks and packs one hell of a punch but nothing compares to her flying stomp attack which, while admittedly a little bit hot, is really unkind to your health bar.

Everything about this move will have you tearing out your hair and squeezing the controller in frustration.

Sigrun is incredibly aggressive already and has a wide array of moves at her disposal so the flying stomp just serves to add insult to injury. Not only does she boast the beefiest HP bar in the game, she has the special attacks of every one of the other Valkyries and is more than ready to unleash them all in your direction.

There is a tiny window to interrupt her air attack with your axe but before you’re able to nail it, you’ll be getting literally stomped. A lot.
