As was once the case with Fallout 4 and the upcoming Spider-Man title on PS4, both were rumbled beforehand by appearing on peoples' CVs. The same has now happened for Devil May Cry 5, which not only showed up on voice actor Nils Hognestad's resumé, but in November 2017, we got a full breakdown from someone posting on the ResetEra forums as to what DMC 5 would be.

From the aforementioned poster, we know the game has been in development for two years, and is slated to debut a gameplay demo at E3 2018. We'll be reprising Dante (the version we know and love, not the godawful 2013 rebooted edition) alongside DMC 4's Nero, as the story will apparently delve into Dante as a person, picking apart the demon hunter's various personality traits, and hopefully gearing up for a climactic showdown against someone other than brother, Vergil.

Other noteworthy elements are a 60 frames-per-second lock, the fact that Hideaki Itsuno is back as director, and that Dante will once again have access to the "Style System", letting you flick between entire sets of animations and attacks at the touch of a button.

As long as you can still jump-kick off an enemy and rain down bullets from above whilst upside down though, I am IN.
