7. Tingle Is Gay - The Legend Of Zelda

The Theory

Tingle is a divisive figure among The Legend Of Zelda fans and is infamous even beyond the limits of that committed group, thanks to how flat-out odd he is. He's obsessed with fairies - to the point that he dresses like one and loses his mind when he meets Link in Majora's Mask and sees he comes with a fairy - and that was apparently enough to inspire fans to speculate about his sexuality.
