9 Video Game Hard Modes That Were WAY Too Easy

7. Infamous: Second Son

Infamous: Second Son gives us the opportunity to step into the shoes of superpowered Conduit Delsin and make choices that influence not only the world around him, but his powers themselves and Delsin's own morality.

Using his powers, Delsin takes on the DUP, a government organisation intent on capturing the Conduit "bioterrorists".

Infamous: Second Son also has an Extreme difficulty setting, meaning that players keen to feel the full force of the evil Department of Unified Protection have the chance to do so.

Maybe it should have occurred to players that having superpowers would make everything easier, but it just isn't what you'd expect from a video game played on "Expert" diffculty.

While there are a few times where certain enemies can absorb damage like super-sponges, Expert difficulty on Second Son really isn't anything to write home about.

It's an annoyingly small flaw in an otherwise impressive game, but players who came for a challenge were sorely disappointed, and that earns it a place on the list.
