Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank series has quite the legacy and the PS4 addition was no exception to the history of bright visuals, exciting gameplay, and delightful characters that fans expected. They’d also have expected the suite of weaponry and one particular pre-order weapon turned out to be especially overpowered.

The Bouncer has appeared in multiple games in the franchise but it’s only been a pre-order bonus in Ratchet & Clank for PS4.

You can grab it early in the game for one hundred bolts so long as you snagged a pre-order code but doing so is really worth it if you want to absolutely breeze through the game. For 130,000 bolts you can upgrade it to the Omega Heavy Bouncer, and to put it plainly this thing can clear a room with just a couple of shots. That’s largely because it shoots out a large bomb and little bomblets. Some players reported going out of their way not to use it in order to retain the challenge of the game, especially since in this edition its targeting appears to be better, and you can upgrade it with raritanium.

Basically that means making the souped up weapon with bombs for bullets hit even harder and increase its area of effect. It either wrecks the early and mid game or makes it way better depending on your perspective.
