9 Ways Bethesda Can Fix Fallout 76

3. Add Deathmatch & Other Multiplayer Modes

While Fallout 76's multiplayer gameplay isn't exactly smooth as it is, players might be a little more forgiving of that fact if there were more options for casual PVP gunplay.

Patching in some conventional multiplayer modes like Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination and so on would be a fun way to make the 24-player servers feel a bit less sparse and cold, even if some players will naturally want nothing to do with it.

At present the game feels oddly empty and uninviting even when you're in a fully populated server, and though Bethesda has suggested that deathmatch "may" be added in the future, they'd be smart to dispense with the maybes and actually crack on with it.

How wonderful would it be to return to Fallout 76 six months from now and there's a vibrant community of deathmatch obsessives? It could certainly help keep the game alive even in spite of the vitriolic response so far.
