9 Ways Bethesda Can Fix Fallout 76
2. Make Quests Truly Co-Op
One of the most infuriating aspects of the game is that, for the most part, quests have to be completed individually, even if you're part of a four-player squad all tackling the same mission.
This can prove immensely frustrating when it comes to fetch quests and listening to holotape exposition, because while there are always going to be players who race ahead and deny the rest of their team the "full" mission experience, forcing all players to do all the things is nothing but tedious busy-work.
It really puts a dent in the incentive to work together to complete missions, and can create confusion when players are at different stages of the quest. It's not like there's much nuance, detail or variety to the missions, so why not let players pool their efforts and progress fully across them all?
This just feels like a huge, basic mistake, especially considering it's something MMOs have been getting right for literally decades at this point.
