9 Ways GTA Online Has Ruined GTA

2. The Entire Single-Player Has Been Forgotten About

While it's already disappointing that Rockstar haven't released any substantial story content for GTA V's single-player, they've essentially cut all ties with the solo mode that made the title a success in the first place.

Because although Online receives a wealth of new updates every single year, pretty much none of that additional content has made its way over to the single-player mode. A few vehicles have admittedly been shipped over here and there, but the vast majority of the DLC is only accessible by jumping into the multiplayer and paying for it with in-game cash.

Why the content doesn't make it over to the single-player is anyone's guess, but one reason seems to be the most obvious: because it wouldn't make Rockstar any money. If players can indulge in all the activities, vehicles, weapons and cosmetic items offline, they might not be persuaded to fork out real money to access them in GTA Online.

Unfortunately, that's meant the single-player isn't really relevant anymore, and hasn't been since 2013.
