9 Ways The Gaming Industry Is Currently Trolling All Of Us

8. Flooding The Market With Everything At Once

Ultimately, gaming is just like any other entertainment industry, where the publishing company's desire is rarely to make an award-winning, critically acclaimed adventure. At the centre of it all, the only thing they truly care about is making money. That's fine, of course; because we can usually satisfy ourselves in helping them to achieve this. What does become a problem, however, is when the seasonal market is left languishing at certain points before the floodgates open around the festive period. Consider this November, where three of the year's most anticipated titles are all due to be released within a fortnight of each other. As much as we'd all like otherwise, we gamers do sadly have jobs and families that need to have time dedicated to as well. How, then am I supposed to divide my time when I want to sink every spare hour into both Fallout 4 and Star Wars: Battlefront at the same time? Forget the money guys, just help the plight of the gaming's calendar overall.
