For some gamers, skipping the entrances and getting straight to the action is the norm. For others, watching those just adds to the experience and makes the games feel even more like watching a pro wrestling TV show.

However, once you've seen The Undertaker's video game entrance for the twentieth time, it definitely starts to grow old! The WWE 2K franchise has tried to make up for this by giving gamers the chance to "break out" and attack their opponent, but there's so much more the AEW title can do with it.

Whether it's controlling animations, quick time events, or button prompts to get the crowd on your side, this could prove to be a fun diversion that adds to the overall feel of taking control of your favourite wrestler. AEW does deliver some flashy entrances, but they're usually quite short, so this wouldn't be an overly long, tedious experience either.

The mileage could vary on this, but assuming it's handled the right way, it might be a fun way to bring something fresh to a wrestling video game.
