4. Modifying A Wrestler's Appearance

There's a lot of fun to be had with "Create-A-Wrestler" mode, but devoting too much time to that would be a mistake, especially if it means the real-life wrestlers don't get the attention they need. Honestly, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for this concept to be completely scrapped in the AEW game.

Don't panic yet, though, as there's something which could go a long way in making up for its absence!

In WWF No Mercy, players could change the appearance of the wrestlers they took control of, swapping out their gear, making them look ridiculous, or just playing around with their hairstyles and tattoos. No one probably wants to transform Cody Rhodes into some sort of freak, but how great would it be to change his hair colour and gear to reflect whatever is happening on Dynamite?

The developers could even make this a sort of monthly DLC, ensuring that for a while at least, what's in the game reflects what's happening on television. However, getting to play around with this in some sort of customisation suite would be a welcome addition.
