Animal Crossing: New Horizons Wishlist - 10 Things Fans Need To See

7. Villager Overhaul

With the power of the Nintendo Switch behind Animal Crossing: New Horizons, they’ll likely have more villagers than ever.

Hopefully, this will mean the return of all our old favourites, as well as some of the quirkier and original dialogue of the older games.

Why stop there though? Even if we can’t play as animals ourselves, a villager creation option or a mix ‘em up setting would let us add our own flavour to the villagers. Anything which wrings even more creativity out of the game is sure to be very popular.

There’s already a considerable range of animals included, but it’s one of those things where more is definitely more. There’s so many animals in the world that it’s almost impossible to hit a point of diminishing returns when it comes to adding new species to the game.

Then there’s the chance to merge two species together and create something completely new. It is called Animal Crossing after all.

There’s nothing wrong with the villagers as they are right now, but seeing as interacting with them makes up a major part of the game, some upgrades wouldn’t go amiss.
