Anthem: 10 Major Fixes It Desperately Needs

4. Add Text Chat & Other Communication Options

Communication in this game is, in a word, awful.

Unless you plug in a microphone, conversing with other players is virtually impossible, as the game bafflingly doesn't include text chat due to a new American law which would also require the game to feature other accessibility features (which EA, a billion dollar company, apparently cannot provide).

There's not even some canned text quotes or a basic ping system to place waypoints for teammates to follow, which can make solving even basic puzzles during story missions a totally unnecessary headache.

It's especially infuriating during Freeplay, where you might want to alert other players to a world event going on, but alas, there's no way to do it. These are all basic features which should be pure common sense in a game like this. Sort it out, guys.
