Anthem 2.0 Wishlist: 8 Ways To Fix The Game
7. Filters For Matchmaking And Guild Perks
Anthem can be played solo, but many of the missions were designed with multiplayer in mind and there a couple of improvements that would make that experience so much better.
First off, matchmaking needs to have more options for players looking to team up to do specific things. Many of the seasonal events have specific rules and objectives set to a timer, and in order to maximize player's scores, these objectives have to be tackled in a certain order and with strategy.
Unfortunately, if players are matched up with random players who don't care about their score or challenges, they can cause the whole party to miss out.
Players should be able to select certain filters like "grinding for legendaries" or "world events only" to get matched up with like-minded players who are trying to accomplish the same goals.
Also, by incorporating a ping system, players would be able to better coordinate attacks and objectives without the use of a mic.
Guilds were another needed addition , but have to be fleshed out more to provide incentives to join. Exclusive missions, armor and vinyls would help guilds create their own identity and really feel like a unique team of heroes.
