Arkham Origins: 6 Playable Characters Revealed so Far

4. Goon

Goons Playable exclusively in multiplayer mode, the goons are a fairly weak bunch that do great against each other but have a tendency to struggle when up against the dynamic duo or the gang leaders. Players can fully customise the appearance of their gang members, with each gang providing unique clothing and make-up/tattoo options to enable players to create a character that marks their individuality. It€™s a nice change to be able to design one€™s character in an online game, as more often than not we€™re simply given a few readymade characters and told we have to make do with them, leaving us only able to alter their weapon loadout. Without giving too much away, the goons are a diverse bunch that are pretty fun to play as, with the knowledge that Batman or Robin could drop down on you at any second making the gameplay verge on survival horror. It€™s enjoyable to play the game on the other side of the coin for once, and although you€™re pretty much screwed if you go against a superior opponent head-on, it isn€™t too hard to kill the Bat if you catch the controlling player off-guard or go at him with a team-mate. Joker and Bane are harder to deal with... well, nearly impossible to deal with actually, but their health doesn€™t regenerate so you can grind them down eventually, though it€™s admittedly much easier to beat the supers whilst playing as Batman or Robin.
