Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Every Detail You Need To Know
3. More Character Customisation Than Ever Before
The Assassin's Creed franchise has always boasted a plethora of customisation options, but for the most part they've been quite extraneous to the experience. Especially in the earlier games, it didn't really matter what outfit you were sporting or which weapon you wielded, as even though they had different stats, it rarely substantially changed the gameplay.
Origins ushered in an entirely new loot system however, upping the amount of weapons, armour and gadgets to find in the world considerably. Thanks to the new combat mechanics, the tools you utilised actually dictated your chances of getting through fights unscathed or sneaking through encampments unnoticed.
By the sounds of things, Ubisoft heard loud and clear how much players enjoyed the overhauled customisation options in that release, and are pushing forward with introducing even more in the next game.
