Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Every Detail You Need To Know

2. Every Conversation Has Dialogue Options

While a lot of the details released so far about Odyssey are concerned with systems already present in previous Assassin's Creed games, Ubisoft have confirmed one unique feature which will be making its way over to the sequel.

Once again indicative of the way the open-world title will be embracing RPG elements, you now have a say over your character's dialogue. Instead of following a set path, it's now up to players how they want to respond while speaking to NPCs, potentially leading to branching pathways in the story.

At the very least, the ability to choose how your character acts in conversations should point towards NPCs playing a much larger role in the release, hopefully reflective of a deeper, more engrossing sandbox in general. Likewise, this addition should increase the connection players have to the main character, by giving them better authorship over their actions and personality.
