Ubisoft sure love bringing across their various gameplay mechanics, cross-pollinating them to (hopefully... eventually) create the ultimate game.

One such thing from Far Cry 3 onwards, is the notion of chain-killing.

This is somewhat similar to how multi-kills first appeared in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, though there, they were contingent on enemies being closer together.

Since Origins is quite literally taking the 'stab foe, grab dagger and throw into next foe' animation/approach of Far Cry, with any luck we'll be able to take out guards that have considerable distance between them.

As a meaningful addition to our repertoire of moves, you can feel the immediate implementation of how this would work in clearing out any given base of enemies, though time will tell on how much it can be upgraded to take out even more people.
