Assassin's Creed: 10 Times The Templars Were Right

9. Ahmet Wanting To Rid The World Of Blood Feuding - Assassin's Creed Revelations

The eldest son of Bayezid III and the heir to the Ottoman throne, as well as being the head of the Byzantine Rite of Templars, Ahmet's whole world view came from an unshakable belief in wanting to rid his lands of the constant blood feuding that was running rife across his lands at the time.

Suffering from that age-old Templar issue of thinking that his position was set in stone, his expedition to find the Masayf Keys and unlock the power of the mysterious Grand Temple eventually brought him into conflict with Ezio Auditore.

Though things would begin to unravel pretty quickly for Ahmet however, and he certainly showed off his wild side from time to time, it can't be denied that he was definitely onto something in believing public image and fairer distribution of wealth would be the secret to ridding the Ottoman Empire of its all its feuding.

Even some of his rivals in Assassin's Creed Revelations would remark that Ahmet, if nothing else, was genuinely sincere in his beliefs. Though the Assassins and Ottomans did indeed brings his plans to an end, they couldn't point to anything that suggested their way of doing things was any better than Ahmet's by the time the game's finale rolled on by.
