As its title suggests, Assassin's Creed Odyssey provides an epic adventure of mythic proportion. A quest to reconnect with your family, uncovering the secrets of a mystical spear, and dismantling a masked cult at the centre of it all, there's plenty to keep players busy for hours on end.

As you gather clues throughout your time in Ancient Greece to unveil and hunt down the cultists, you get a step closer to unmasking the mastermind behind it all, the very person who tore apart your family. Unfortunately, though, the reveal is anti-climactic to say the least.

After hours of tracking and assassinating, the Ghost Of Kosmos, as they're known by, turns out to be Aspasia, the wife of Athenian leader Perikles. Only encountered a handful of times during the main game, Aspasia's presence is nowhere near prevalent enough for this twist reveal to be as impactful as intended.

Serving only to deliver large amounts of exposition and providing a laughably easy boss fight should you decide to kill her instead of romancing her, Aspasia is easily one of the weakest villains in the series.

Deimos would've made for a much more satisfying main antagonist than her.
