Assassin's Creed: Every Major Villain RANKED

9. Crawford Starrick - Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

One of the only Templars to be completely fictional, Crawford Starrick is the hot-tempered main antagonist of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate with an immaculate moustache and silky vocals.

With an iron grip over Victorian London, controlling the industries, politics, and a ruthless street gang known as the Blighters, Starrick is established as a tyrannical force to be reckoned with from the game's opening. Despite his hypnotic malevolence which makes him one of the franchise's most entertaining villains, Starrick is unfortunately criminally underused.

Aside from appearing in a handful of excellent cutscenes that act as reminders for just how excellent a villain he is for the Frye twins, Starrick's physical presence in the story is virtually non-existent.

When he does finally interact with the Fryes during a climactic mission in Buckingham Palace after they've all but annihilated his allies and gang, we're thrown straight into a final boss fight with him before he gets a chance in the villain spotlight himself..

While the boss fight itself is fun enough, it nevertheless feels like we're only saying goodbye to this Templar just as he was coming into play.

Starrick is a great villain who deserved better.
