Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - 10 Ways It Already Made The Series Great Again
7. An Arsenal Of New Weapons And Tools
Legendary inventor Alexander Graham Bell (in his younger years) makes an appearance to supply the player with new gear, and in addition to developing the highly effective voltaic bombs and a new recipe for smoke bombs, Bell provides the player with arguably the single best gadget ever put in an Assassin's Creed game: the portable zipline.
The zipline makes getting around an absolute breeze. Getting from one rooftop to another on the opposite side of the street is no longer a hassle and massive structures can be ascended with ease. Ubisoft knew they were making a bigger, more open map, and that they needed something to make exploration easier - and the zipline does just that.
In addition, the aforementioned new weapons each have their own advantages and disadvantages, letting you choose base on the way you want to fight. For instance, the cane swords do the most points of damage, whereas the kukris have the highest actual lethality rate. Meanwhile, the brass knuckles are most effective to stun your opponents.
All of these things must be taken into consideration when deciding which weapons to use. Plus, the Assassin gauntlets add to your base melee damage, but you must level up and obtain lots of money in order to obtain stronger ones. In addition, every single weapon, gauntlet and tool can be upgraded, in order to prepare for the more difficult missions later on in the game.
