But if you bought Valhalla to be more of a Viking than an assassin, a war hammer might be more your speed.
It's true that this category of weaponry makes you a bit slower than those around you, but whip one out when raiding or otherwise and watch as your enemies cower in fear. So if this sounds like the Viking you want Eivor to be head on over to the island of Rygjafylke in Norway and collect one of the strongest early in-game weapons available.
The War Hammer can be found in the Marauder's Den, which is a small encampment between the villages of Eikundarsund and the aptly-named Nottfall. After wiping the marauders from the face of the Earth you'll find a wealth chest resting on a platform above your head. Climb up onto the roof nearest to it and jump on over to claim this one-handed fine hammer that scales with the Path of the Raven.
And since the War Hammer serves to boost all heavy damage dealt for a period of 20 seconds after performing a heavy finisher, it makes the perfect weapon for any berserker who doesn't mind the sight of blood.
