2. The World's Greatest Detective
Batman and the Commissioner set up a crime scene, they chatter back and forth as they question the motives and suspects. Then we get our hands dirty with all of the Caped Crusader's wonderful toys. Batman is one of the world's greatest detectives, well greatest really, and while his uncanny investigating prowess certainly continued to play a role in Arkham City, we believe it could create an entirely new gameplay mechanic within our vision of Gotham City. Once you've established the crime scene, the game gives you subtle clues about what to investigate, what was left behind, and how you can track down the suspect. Blood trails can be examined if the criminal was injured. You could scan for fingerprints, or check surveillance. Did they vanish without a trace? Psh, no worries. Remember you're the freakin' Batman! Travel back to the Bat Cave and dig deeper for the answers. Once you find a lead, follow it until you inevitably track em' down and make them pay. While you're at it, why don't you shake them down with an interrogation in order to get more information on collectibles. Interrogations would make a stunning return. Batman's pre-determined interrogation methods were great and all, but being able to select the way in which you interrogate would just be hilarious. With the ability to dig deeper into Batman's detective abilities, the game could take on another life entirely. Click next below to read on
