Batman: Arkham Insurgency - 10 Villains That Must Be Included

2. The Court Of Owls

Although a relatively new creation, the Court of Owls have quickly established themselves as being one of the most formidable and downright interesting organisations to have featured in Batman's rogues gallery. It makes sense, then, that they nabbed two easter eggs in Origins - two delectable references that could, we hope, come into play in Insurgency.

For those not in the know, the Court are a super secret criminal outfit that have pervaded Gotham's history for centuries. They kidnap circus performers at a young age and turn them into assassins, called Talons, and they're just a really sinister, nasty bunch really.

The Arkham series has been crying out for a decent mystery for years now, with Origins and Asylum having only shown flashes of the genre in their respective plots. The Court provide that mystery and then some, and while they don't necessarily lend themselves well to that early setting in some respects, they'd be a great addition for the series, providing something fresh and exciting that doesn't come in a purple and green getup.

Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo have yet to see their work adapted to another medium, but if any of their stories were suited to the gaming medium, it'd be the Court of Owls.
