Batman: Arkham Insurgency - Everything We Know So Far

11. It's A Prequel (Set Between Origins & Asylum)

How to get around the mess that was the all-exploding final moments of Arkham Knight's true ending?

Don't even go near them.

Instead, go back to the many years between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum, as there's plenty of groundwork to explore as to how Bruce truly becomes Batman. This way we get a far more driven, far more dedicated and less shoe-gazing Bat; one who fights like the spry youngster he once was, and one who's just getting to grips with the array of psychopaths his very presence draws out of Gotham.

Of course, doing a prequel sadly means we'll get another character-breaking loss of every move Bruce would subsequently learn in the coming games, most likely to provide a level of progression over time.

Assumedly, Batman is forever forgetting his entire repertoire of double-counters and ground-pounds, only to remember... and then forget again. Don't think about it too much.
