Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Disturbing Villains We Want To See

5. The Mad Hatter

He€™s already appeared in the other Arkham titles, so it€™s almost a given that Mad Hatter will play a part in Arkham Knight. It€™s also likely his love of mind control could factor in to an appearance with other villains on this list. Real name Jervis Tetch, this expert hypnotist and inventor became obsessed with the idea that he was the living embodiment of the Mad Hatter from Lewis Carroll€™s book Alice€™s Adventures in Wonderland. In Arkham Origins he tries to recruit Batman until the Bat discovers Tetch has kidnapped a girl he believes to be Alice. He forces Batman through €œWonderland€, which he successfully navigates and escapes, knocking out the villain and leaving him for the police. It is suggested that he has raped the girl and could possibly be a paedophile. He played a big part in Arkham City, using a modified version of Scarecrow€™s fear toxin to trick Batman and forcing other super villains such as Catwoman and Poison Ivy to act as other Wonderland characters. It is assumed he is rounded up at the end of Arkham City, but given the large scale of villains in Arkham Knight, it can be expected that this regular will be making a return to poison Batman once again.
