Oh Rocksteady, how could you mess this one up? What should've been a great surprise inclusion from one of Origins' highlights turned into a borefest worthy of Dark Tomorrow proportions, and its conclusion was even more disappointing than Hush's. With a character that has such a physically intimidating presence like Slade Wilson it would be mad to not use him in a combat role against Batman, mano a mano, but Rocksteady decided to keep him inside a tank - a poor repeat of the already irritating Cloudburst boss fight featured earlier on in the game. Worse still, the moment players are presented with a brief glimmer of hope that they may actually get to square-off against Deathstroke hand to hand he is defeated by Bats within a cut-scene. Not only is this uncharacteristic of Wilson to face Batman in a machine that doesn't let him show off his combat prowess, it just felt like a major cop-out. Was a rooftop Battle using Origins' mechanics out of the question from the get go? In a title that strives to make the player feel like Batman, it sure does feature a lot of watching instead of 'doing'.
