Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Insane Fan Theories That Would Go Down In History
5. Hush As The Real Enemy
Despite being one of Batman's newest additions to his gallery of rogues, Dr. Thomas Elliott has really proven his worth as a formidable foe of the world's greatest detective - having taken part in some amazing storylines involving the premise of him having stolen Bruce Wayne's identity - a plot element brought in during Arkham City as well. Indeed, it wouldn't be too outlandish to suggest that Elliott is the true architect of Knight's proceedings, having already orchestrated a mass alliance of rogues in his self-titled comics début. Rocksteady themselves also appear to have a fondness for incorporating plot twists into the Arkham series so far, and Hush is definitely best poised to unite the rogues in a way Scarecrow simply can't. Bruce's identity is ripe for manipulation in Knight's events, with the billionaire philanthropist having started his campaign to run as Mayor for Gotham City already in full swing. In the result of a political victory Hush could command far more influence as Bruce than once thought - going to great lengths to ruin the Wayne family's name in the process. It's not often Bruce gets targeted, so making him vulnerable in Knight would really add tension to a plot that's already gearing up to be one of the wildest Batman tales yet.
